Roland is one of the world’s most popular names in the field of electronic music equipment. It only makes sense that it has made one of the most impressive electronic drum kits on the market in the TD-4K kit. This is a unique drum kit that has features that are not featured too often in other electronic drum kits.

The main feature of the TD-4K is its central mounted TD-4 sound module. This is a device that features several different types of controls. The control works with numerous sounds including some that are new or exclusive to the TD-4K. The sensors on the pads also work with the panel to create more accurate sounds when the toms and other materials are hit at different levels.

There are several toms, cymbals and kick pedals on the TD-4K. These are all velocity sensitive materials that work to create sounds with different intensity levels according to how strongly one hits the drum at. This is beneficial because a person who hits the drums at different speed or intensity rates should be hearing sounds that relate to how powerful the drum is being hit at.

The snare drum has a mesh head that is unique to the TD-4K. This adds to the realism of the drum kit. This is one of the most impressive features to see in that it makes it easier for a person to play the drums in a realistic manner.

There are several different modes that the drum kit can work with. It uses a quick recording mode along with a mixing mode for easier sound mixes. A Coach Mode is also featured here. The Coach Mode works to make it so the user can have an easier time with learning how to play drums.

An MIDI output is also featured here. This output works with a system that is used to sequence the beats with other sounds. This is used as a means of encouraging the user to create all sorts of unique sounds on the drum kit.

While it is true that the Roland TD-4K works with a massive number of features and controls it is actually easy to set up. The kit works without visible wires as many of the wires are built on the insides of the support areas. The kit is also easy to lift up and set up in that it has an 11kg weight. This is less than that of many other drum kits on the market.

The TD-4K retails for £839. The product is available with free shipping through Jb’s Music Store, the supplier for Amazon for the product.
